About this event

Danish producer Kölsch played Club Seen on Chaweng Beach on Saturday 27 December 2025, with doors at 2 pm. DJ Mag introduces him as a melodic techno and progressive house artist who appears on its Top 100 DJs list. The Samui night was one stop on a Thailand tour run in association with DJ Mag.

The tour moved on to Bangkok a week later: Kölsch was announced for Fvture, a new 6,000-capacity club, on 3 January 2026. On Samui he was one of several international names in the December and January programme that the club built after its relaunch. The club has two infinity pools and an outdoor DJ booth, and doors were at 2 pm.

All times are Bangkok time (UTC+7).

Live music on Koh Samui

Live music on Samui is spread across the evening bar strips rather than one venue. Chaweng Beach Road has bars with house bands playing rock, reggae and pop covers, plus a small jazz club. Lamai leans towards reggae and rock bands, and Bophut's Fisherman's Village suits a quieter drink with a singer or duo. Larger club nights bring in visiting international performers, usually announced a few weeks ahead on the club's own channels. Resorts also host jazz and beach concerts now and then. Most nights start late, so expect the main acts after 22:00.

Around Chaweng

Chaweng is the main resort town on Samui's east coast, with the longest beach on the island, roughly 7 km of sand. Soi Green Mango, just back from the beach, is the nightlife alley, and Central Festival Samui sits between the beach road and Chaweng Lake. Chaweng Beach Road is one-way northbound and slows to a crawl between 17:00 and 20:00 with taxis, scooters and pedestrians. Most club nights, pool parties and Muay Thai bouts are here, and Pru Chaweng Park hosts public festivals and races.
